Come and join the Kraken team for a ride through the mighty Alpine peaks of southeast France. Leaving the UK via Le Shuttle we will take the direct route to Troyes for an overnight stop before heading to the beautiful shores of Lake Geneva. This is the point where the real adventure begins!!
From Lake Geneva we will head south riding along the roads of La Route des Grande Alps. This famous bucket list road promises a number of high altitude mountain passes with both amazing views and pure riding pleasure. Just a stones throw from the Alpine borders of Switzerland and Italy, we will weave our way down to the Mediterranean coast.
If this isn’t enough, the tour then heads along the Mediterranean coast to pick up another famous bucket list road, the Route Napoleon. Riding the Route Napoleon promises mile after of mile of sweeping tarmac and is the route taken by Napoleon when he came out of exile and made his way from the Mediterranean coast to Grenoble. Having spent time on the technical switch backs of the Alps earlier in the trip, this road will blow you away with smooth tarmac, fast open stretches, small picturesque towns and wonderful views.
This truly is a tour with everything! Lakes, mountains, coast roads, switch backs, fast stretches, stunning scenery, historical significance and most importantly amazing riding. A 10 day tour full of riding pleasure.
